I notice most members on this list are signed up to receive an e-mail each time something is posted to the list (I think this is the eGroups default option).
You can change that set up. Whne you're on the Index page of the list, just click on the Group Info button at the top left, then click on the Modify Subscription button, and change your setting to one of the other options (You could get one comprehensive e-mail a day, one a week, or do as I do, when you feel like it or need a break, just check the messages on the web; this way you control when you get the messages)
